Go to the beautiful island of Sardinia. It takes two hours driving from Turin to the port of Genova. Should you prefer the train, it takes one hour and half to reach Genova from Turin. Ferries from Genova arrive daily to Sardinia (8 hours sailing).
The house is on the west coast of Sardinia in the little seaside village of Santa Caterina di Pittinuri in the Cuglieri municipality, the Oristano province. The population is permanent and the village is provided with all year services. The weather is exceptionally good. During the summer months a pleasant breeze is wafting in from the sea.
The house is situated on a hillside overlooking the village with mountains in the back and beautiful views of the Mediterranean sea in the front. The house is bathed in sun all day long. It is a peaceful and quiet area. Around the house are green fields and other detached houses with their gardens.
There are two flats in the house. The one on the first floor is occasionally occupied by the owners. The other on the ground floor is for rent. The two apartments are totally independent. The one on the ground floor faces a very nice garden with all the scents of the Mediterranean. The furniture is well appointed. The flat has all the equipment needed to spend a relaxing and very comfortable holiday.
Outside there is a second kitchen where one can cook and enjoy food under the portico, especially in summer and on warm spring and autumn days. There is also an outside shower, a solarium and a cosy little place in the garden where one can relax, look at the sky, the moon and the stars.
